The 2007-08 Scholarship Program has 12 students enrolled.  What a blessing it has been to see Omar and German come to know Christ and be baptized!  Praise God for how He is opening doors through Simon, Alejandro and Rogelio and bringing their family members to accept Christ and be baptized as well!  We Praise God for the steadfast serving hearts of Valeria, Victor, Adolfo, Pablo and Veronicaand how God is using them in begining to lead the Youth Group at church.   God is bearing much fruit through the lives of each of the scholarship students and we Praise God for providing for all of their needs!   We first met Alejandro and Simon four year ago.  Soon after their parents accepted Christ, Alejandro and Simon did too.  Since then they have been praying for God to use them to lead others to Christ, especially their other family members.  Alejandro and Simon Aguirre are scholarship students and very active youth in our church.  Now their grandfather, an uncle and 2 aunts have accpeted Christ and were reccently baptized! Also, a year ago they began to invite their friend Rogelio to church with them.  Rogelio soon came to accept Christ and was baptized.  Alejandro, Simon and Rogelio all went to our last Encounter Retreat Weekend.  After Rogelio came back and shared with his father and sister what God is doing in his life, his father soon came to church and accpeted Christ.  Rogelio's father was just baptized and now his father, step-mom, sister and her husband are all going on the next Encounter Retreat weekend.   PRAISE GOD! Alejandro, Simon and Rogelio now have begun to invite their other friends to know Christ and Omar and German have since given their life over to Jesus!  Wow!  God has brought about 6 more people to salvation through Jesus becuase of this families opportunity to have a scholarship.   Rogelio now has a scholarship to attend High school  & both he and Alejandro are entering their final year of high school in fall 2007 and Simon is beginning his first year of High school after just graduating from Junior High.  Their parents serve in church as teachers in the Sunday School Program and hold a weekly cell group in their home where they are learning to share God's word with others in their community.
