Apart from Him we can do NOTHING! If we remain in Him Jesus promises us that we WILL bear much fruit. It is our hearts’ desire that you cling to Him long, often and ardently in prayer on our behalf and for those we minister to. When our lives, ministry or your prayers bear any fruit it is to God’s glory as we can then testify that we are His disciples!      WE COVET YOUR PRAYERS FOR:

*Other VBM Board Members: Jerry and Kathy Jones, Jerry is recovering from surgery and we are believing for a complete healing and no more cancer, also for his wife kathy for her  physical strength with fibro.

*Board Member  Robin Robinson's husband Del who is recovering from cancer, as they both continue to recover from hurricane Ike and  reach out to their community.

*Dear friends and servants: Dava Lee and Johnny Russell.  Johnny is scheduled for surgery on August 12th and we are believing for a complete healing and no more cancer!

*Please pray for our urgent financial support need to be met!  Due to work, health and local needs several supporters have contacted us informing us they are currently unable to continue supporting VBM.  Ministry donations over the past 8 months have dropped considerably. We are operating on a total budget of just $1025.00 A MONTH.  We are trusting in the Lord and asking Him to replace and grow our needed additional $800.00 a month.       

*Praise God!!!!! The Mayors office has just donated 6 acers of land for our Outreach project the VICTORIA soccer league! They are cleaning and clearing it so we can develop it for use by our christian soccer league. Pray that God will provide the necessary sponsors to assist us in developing it and that the city will be diligent in getting it ready by September as our second Tournament begins. 

* VBM Christian Soccer League: "Victoria" to be a vehicle by which many youth and adults will come to know Christ, be discipled and bear His fruit in their lives!  Also, for unity between churches to be improved and strengthened.

*Please agree in prayer along with us that our ministry property is for God's will to be done through VBM and that there will be more than enough provision in order to build without affecting any of the other VBM programs or personal monthly support needs (scholarship, outreach).

*Pray for God's favor on us as Alex begins to solicit for the necessary permits for building on our newly acquired property for the Outreach facility.  He will be actively visiting downtown in the "urban planning" offices turning in our required plans and surveys, soliciting the necessary permits on our property.

*Pray for the funding needed to finish surveying and solicit the permits to come in now so that we can continue to move ahead with preparing for the upcoming stages of construction.

*Pray for God to move hearts and give Alex favor as he works diligently on gathering the most accurate & fair possible estimates on the cost of the Outreach Facility, Dorm/Conference Hall and on the Minsitry Office/Guest Quarters.

*Praise God for Scholarship students Rogelio, German, Pati, and Adolfo who graduated from High School this year! Please pray for them as they have decided to go onto university studies and are in need of assistance with enrollment fees.

*Please pray for God to supply a laptop computer and a canon (projector)!  These are so needed as we receive so many invitations to teach, preach and even present the soccer league.  These are such an important tool during our Leadership and Teachers Conferences.  We have been lent them now and then but really need our own. The funding needed for both is approximately $1,700.00.  Pray God will provide these much much needed ministry tools!

*A youth and children's Outreach under our covering and financial support in Roman and Karla's old neighborhood.  They now live in their new home in Piedra Angular (what a blessing!!) and will be able to continue to minister to the children in their cell group but now are able to expand it to youth as well and meet more frequently! Pray that God will continue to grow our financial resources in order to meet the needs of getting this program running!  Please pray for God to provide the needed tables, microwave, pots, benches and stove for this Outreach location.

*Please pray for God to continue to define and direct Vine and Branches Ministries as we are taking steps of faith seeing our outreach programs expand in ways we have longed for.

 *Please pray that God will send the needed funds and a team to assist us in constructing our much, much needed addition at home for our ministry office, donation center and guest quarters. 

*Please pray for the members of our ministry's board:   Jerry & Kathy Jones, Ken & Sharon Fabbri, Kathy McDavid, Robin & Del Robinson.  Pray for God to share His wisdom and accountability through them as they lend counsel to VBM's growth, direction and vision.    

 *For us to be sensitive and alert to the leading of the Holy Spirit as we preach, teach, visit and minister.

 *For our financial needs as a ministry to not only be met but to surpass our expectations so that we may reach out even farther in Jesus’ name in ministry.
