Vine and Branches Ministries Areas of Focus

The evangelism of children and youth is extremely important as 72 percent of Mexico’s population is 24 years of age or younger. God has given us the vision & challenge of establishing a much needed Children’s & Youth’s Outreach Center.

Serving the Youth, Children and their families in Piedras Negras, Mexico,  Vine and Branches Ministries focus is specifically on establishing & implementing Outreach Programs & Educational opportunities, meeting a physical need, which serves as a doorway to present the salvation of Jesus Christ and experience the power of developing a personal relationship with Him.   We have purchased land & will begin building VBM's Outreach Facility, Dorm and Conference Hall on a strategically placed property, (3.6 acres)  in the rural area of our city where we and many needy families we work with live.  After School, Recreational, Open Meal, Computer and Training Programs as well as Camps & Retreats for youth & children, & Teachers Conferences will be offered from this future facility.

VICTORIA, VBM's Christian Soccer League has 20 churches participating in their upcoming Second Tournament.  We have seen 43 youth come to Christ, taking steps towards growing in the body such as baptism and congregatin.  Currently VBM has a mission, an Outreach Program running out of the Cenizos neighborhood VBM in Piedras and it averages  40 children in attendance.  As well we currently have 8 students enrolled in our Scholarship Program attending High School and 2 in college.  Quarterly we organize city-wide Youth Conferences & Concerts and annually we offer  Teacher & Parenting Conferences open to everyone in our city.  All of these events have been booked to fullest capacity and we look forward to not having to turn people away as the dream of the Outreach Facility and Conference Hall becomes a reality!  As well we continue to receive teaching and preaching opportunities to share about a fruitful life in Christ from schools and churches across our city. 

While striving to meet their physical needs, it is our hearts desire is to see the Mexican people come to know Christ personally and to grow and bear His fruit in their lives. The command of our Lord to take the Gospel into the entire world (Matthew 28:19) as well as to bear fruit that will last (John 15) is at the heart of every phase of our work. Prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to come alongside us and serve in these and other ministries we are involved in Mexico. God has used VBM to implement and establish other Outreach and After School Programs throughout our city with other churches or organizations which continue to run independtly and sucessfully to date.

As we desire to see our relationships with those we minister to locally grow and bear fruit, we only open our calendar up a few times a year to receive short term work groups. However, visitors are always welcome!
