The need for educational scholarships always surpasses the actual Scholarship funds which Vine and Branches has available. Paying for things like enrollment fees which average $140.00 per semester at High School level, required uniforms, transportation, supplies and lab fees keeps many Junior and High School students from furthering their education past elementary level. Parents desiring that their children have the opportunity for affordable private Chirstian education have the opportunity to enroll in our church's accrediated christian Pre-k- 8th grade program. Second Semester 2009: Scholarship Students

Our Scholarship youth in high school and University head back to school the first week in February. During Christmas we were able to make Christmas gifts and decorations from some donated stuffed animals and candies. (SEE Photo Album PICS) Scholarship students were able to raffle and sell these in order raise some of our needed funds for their scholarships. After our investment we were able to raise $240.00 dollars total. This money will be split between the 6 youth who participate. Each of them will need to pay a total of $130.00 dollars for their second semester enrollment fees, plus a $35.00 enrichment course fee which most have already begun to attend. Though not all support needed has arrived, we are thankful for God moving on hearts and for those obeying His calling to sow into the scholarship program as some support has arrived. We are walking by faith...not by sight and trusting He will make a way!!

The Scholarship Program allows students to overcome financial hurdles while growing in their opportunity to know Christ and walk deeper with Him. Your finincial gifts and prayers for these students and many others who are desiring to enroll are crucial.

Amounts for one school year are typically:
*Elementary: Private Christian School is $800.00 a year
*Junior High: Public, transportation, uniform, enrollment fees etc. : $450-$650
*High School: $680-$1200
*College level: $1500-$2500.00
The costs varies due to the type of school, school program/profession they enroll in as well as if it is a graduation year for them.
